SNIA Certified Storage Professional (SCSP) Formal Advance Notification – Withdrawal of SNIA Foundations examWith the impending launch date of January 18th, 2012 for the new CompTIA Storage+ Powered by SNIA credential, this is the advance notification of SNIA’s intention to withdraw the existing SNCP Foundations exam (S10–101) on January 17th, 2012. Those who currently hold the Storage Professional credential can be assured that SNIA will continue to recognize the credential for a period of three years and will expire December 31st, 2014. At any time you are encouraged to refresh your credential on the new CompTIA Storage+ Powered by SNIA exam. The SNIA Certified Profession (SCSP) is a vendor-neutral credential designed to offer a foundation of knowledge for any storage networking professional seeking to gain expertise in the storage networking area. This credential provides validation for storage networking concepts that can be applied to more challenging SNIA credentials or vendor credentialing programs. Preparation for this exam can be achieved through the SNIA01 - SNIA Storage Network Foundations course.
