This five day course is a mix of in-depth instructor led training and hands-on labs that focuses on the core features and tasks in System Center Essentials 2007 to provide Essentials 2010 administrators, Microsoft partners and consultants the information they require to successfully install, configure and manage Essentials 2010. Included throughout are tips, tricks and best practices based on the extensive experience of the course authors and instructors.
Prerequisites
Before attending this course, students should have:
• Experience with Windows 2008 Server administration • Familiarity with Hyper-V Server Virtualization Concepts • MCTS certification, or equivalent knowledge
The course materials, lectures, and lab exercises are written in US English. To benefit fully from the course requires an understanding of both verbal and written English language and completion of the pre-requisites are recommended.
Course Materials and Software:
The student kit includes a comprehensive workbook and with detailed hands-on labs for the course. No software is provided in the student kit but a 120-day evaluation of System Center Essentials 2010 is available on the Microsoft web site.
