CTE Solutions Wins Community Leadership Award in 2009 Microsoft Partner Network IMPACT Awards

Leading Canadian technology partners’ commitment recognized at annual Microsoft Awards

OTTAWA, ON – November 17, 2009 - CTE Solutions announced today that it has been selected as the winner in the Community Leadership Category at the 2009 Microsoft Partner Network IMPACT Awards. The seventh annual IMPACT awards recognize excellence across the large and diverse community of Microsoft’s Canadian technology partners. The winners were announced at an award ceremony in Toronto on November 12, 2009.

“Our annual IMPACT Awards celebrate the most innovative technology partners who have shown superior service to customers and are real leaders in their respective fields,” said Corinne Sharp, National Director, Canadian Partner channel, Microsoft Canada Co. “As true IT heroes, technology partners like CTE Solutions continue to raise the bar with customers by helping them maximize business performance.”

CTE Solutions was chosen as the winner in Community Leadership category for their “Make me Marketable” campaign.  CTE Solutions donated over $300,000 in free training to help support technology workers in the community who have been laid off as a result of the economic downturn. The program provided free technology training to over 150 unemployed workers in the region this summer offering courses on the latest technologies currently in demand in the marketplace helping job seekers differentiate themselves from other job applicants in a very competitive market.
