What exactly is ITIL?
ITIL
was created in response to the growing dependence on Information
Technology to meet business needs. It provides organizations with a customizable framework of best practices
to achieve quality service and overcome difficulties associated with the
growth of IT systems. ITIL is the most widely
accepted approach to IT service management in the world. ITIL provides a
cohesive set of best practices, drawn from the public and private

implementation and assessment tools.

There are three levels of IT Service
Management qualifications that you can pursue. The syllabus of these
certifications is taken from the Service Delivery and Service Support
elements of ITIL and complies with ISO 9001 Quality Standards.
