> STORAGE AREA NETWORK (SAN) TRAINING

CTE Solutions offers two SAN courses that map to the new SNIA certification program. SNIA (The Storage Networking Industry Association) is a consortium of storage companies, developing vendor-neutral standards and best practices for the SAN community.

The course offerings are vendor-neutral and help students develop and deploy more effective storage solutions through better understanding of storage practices, technologies, and standards.

The courseware is accredited through the Institute of Software Advancement, a member of SNIA.

SNIA01 – Storage Network Foundations

This three day course covers general storage network concepts the areas of interoperability for storage networking as well as SCSI, fibre channel, IP storage, network attached storage, virtualization, data management, continuity management and storage management (including SMI-S). 

SNIA02 – Storage Networking Management/Administration

This two day course will cover Fibre Channel specific topics for the day to day management of a storage networking environment and data centre.  It provides the knowledge required to manage and administer a Storage Area Network
